Autumn Epic

A classic sportive route through spectacular mid-Wales mountains. The Autumn Epic set the standard for British events - first to offer electronic timing and online entry 12 years ago.

Routes:

Classic 150km - barely changed in 12 years this route takes you through a remote, high Radnorshire landscape and the spectacular Elan Valley - more

Short Cut 130km - miss out the biggest climb to have a slightly easier day in mid-Wales - more

New 80km - follow the same route up to Abbey-cwm-Hir then turn back for a high ridge return to Knighton - an introduction to Radnorshire riding - more

Latest news: Gold, Silver and Bronze times have been calculated for all the routes - so you can set your own individual target time for the Epic ride - go to the timing page.

Deadline for entries - Mon 26th Sept

Handle-bar chip timing services will come from StuWeb and mechanical aid from local Plush Hill Cycles at the event HQ in the morning. We work in partnership with British Cycling and has teamed up with the charity Wales Air Ambulance.
